Elder Vision Newspaper
- Elder Vision is a publication of the Northampton Council on Aging & Senior Center. The paper is MAILED FREE to seniors in the City of Northampton. The newspaper is funded by donations and advertisers. If you are a Northampton senior (ages 60 and older) and would like to receive Elder Vision, please call the Senior Center at (413) 587-1228.

Notary Public Services
- Notary Public Services are available to Northampton senior citizens by appointment only. Notary Public Services are also available to those senior citizens who are homebound. There is a fee for the service. Call 587-1228 for more information.

PVTA Photo IDs
- PVTA Photo ID's are available for seniors and ADA eligible individuals on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 10 AM-12:30 PM at the Northampton Senior Center. There is a $2 fee. The Photo ID entitles the holder to
- 1/2 price fares on PVTA buses
- purchase monthly passes for unlimited riedes at a discounted, fixed price.

- Forbes Library Outreach
- Access to all the books in print in Western Massachusetts' libraries. Books delivered to homes of those who find it a hardship to get to the library. Call 587-1011 and leave a message for Frank or Adam.

Lending Book Library & Video Library
- There are always upwards of eight hundred volumes on the bookshelves of the Senior Center Library. Books here for the borrowing by any senior. The collection ranges from non-fiction and how-to books to a wide variety of non-fiction – modern novels, romances and mysteries with a few classic titles mixed in. There is also a collection of fifty or more books on tape. Patrons may borrow as many as they choose to keep as long as they like. The Council welcomes any new contributions to either collection. The Council also subscribes to several dozen popular magazines including Oprah, Newsweek, Country Living, Men’s Journal and Health and Fitness. Frequently there are back issues available to those interested.

"We Have Your Number" (Triad House Numbering Program)
- For a voluntary $5 donation, Northampton TRIAD will provide a standard house number sign to assist emergency personnel in locating your home. Signs, which have four-inch high, reflective numbers on both sides of a weatherproof plaque, are attached to a five foot metal stake.
Requests should be mailed or dropped off at the Senior Center, 67 Conz St., Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Call 587-1228 for more information.

Computer Lab with Internet Access
- PC computers with internet access are available at the Senior Center. Also, computer tutors for individual assistance are available by appointment. Call 527-1228.

Games and Billiards Room
- Be a part of the Northampton Senior Center’s best kept secret... Located at 67 Conz Street, there is a billiard pool table and several card tables. The Games Room is also loaded with board games, cards, puzzles, etc. for your fun and pleasure.

Cell Phone 911 Program
- The Northampton Council on Aging and Northampton TRIAD is sponsoring a Cell Phone 911 Program. A cell phone and charger will be available to Northampton senior citizens for the sole purpose of having the need to make emergency 911 calls. Any Northampton senior citizen participating in this program is required to be trained in a 15 to 20 minute training session on the use of the cell phone as well as sign a waiver of liability.
